Troop 149 Chartered Organization Representative and Florida intellectual property and appellate lawyer will be teaching the law merit badge via ZOOM! With a law enforcement officer as a special guest, and a mock trial complete with jury deliberations, by the end of the 2 hours you will have satisfied ALL of the requirements of the Law merit badge!

When is the deadline to sign up?

Please register in advance for this meeting. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.” sign up no later than NOON on Sunday April 5 [Registration CLOSED — we are full!]. We need at least 5 people to meet the requirements, and it’s better if we have up to 20!

What Do I need to Participate?

  • A Zoom account. If you don’t have one, you will be prompted to create one when you sign up for the class.
  • The Zoom App. If you don’t already have the Zoom app, you will have to download it the first time you use it. We recommend you download it when you create your registration, on the device you intend to use for the session. That way, you’ll be able to login when the time comes.
  • A device with good Internet. You can participate in a Zoom call using a computer with a webcam, an iPad or other tablet, or a cell phone.

    • That’s it! We’ll do the rest by screen share! Sunday at noon, Dineen will send all registrants a Virtual Blue Card to pre-fill, and the password for the event (Passwords prevent Zoom bombers). After you attend, she will sign off on it and you will get a certified copy back — all by Adobe Sign!
