Dineen to Teach Two CLEs
The Hillsborough County Bar is presenting two great upcoming Continuing Legal Education events, and Dineen Wasylik will be a featured speaker at each one.
First up: On Friday May 6, 2016, the Intellectual Property Section will do a presentation called The Future of IP Law: The Next 10 Years. Dineen will present on the topic of the Legislative History of the New Patent Troll Regulations — giving her inside perspective as the chair of the Florida Bar Business Law Section’s intellectual property committee during the enactment of Florida’s anti-patent troll bill, and one of the committee members working toward a “fix” of the bill as initially passed. Don’t miss this inside scoop of the statute and how it may affect future patent litigation in Florida.
Second up: On Wednesday, May 11, 2015, the Appellate Section will present a CLE entitled What’s Appealing to Appellate Courts: Procedures, Practices & Professionalism. Dineen will present on the topic of Federal Appellate Traps for State Appellate Practitioners, and will highlight rule changes in both the State and Federal appellate rules over the past few years that differentiate practice in the two courts.
Both of these events boast wonderful speaker panels covering a broad range of topics — don’t miss them! Click the links to register.
